Iridoids, the compound behind Tahitian Noni
Evidence

The research behind it

Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is one of the more studied botanicals in this catalog, largely because one company invested in trials rather than leaving it to independent interest.

More than a dozen human trials

Morinda, the company behind Tahitian Noni, has run over a dozen peer-reviewed human clinical trials on the juice. Company-funded research is still peer-reviewed research, and it is more than most botanicals in this category have, but the funding source is worth knowing when you read it.

Iridoids, not just antioxidants

Noni's distinctive compounds are iridoids, a class that is more chemically stable than many antioxidants and does not degrade the way some fruit polyphenols do during processing. That stability is the practical argument for a juice rather than a capsule.

174 million bottles

A long consumer track record is a safety signal rather than an efficacy one, but at that volume and duration it is a meaningful one. Partner.Co puts the figure at more than 174 million bottles of Tahitian Noni ORIGINAL sold.

Questions people actually ask

Tahitian Noni Juice, answered straight

When should I drink it, and how often?

The label's serving is taken twice a day, and staggered is best: one in the morning and one in the evening. It sits happily alongside LIMU Original, so many people take the two together at the same times. If a second serving is the one you keep forgetting, Zeth's own habit is to take the day's servings together in the morning rather than miss it. The amount per serving is in the answer on how much to take, read straight from the label.

Why is it grainy, and do I need to shake it?

It is made from noni fruit purée, so there are natural fruit solids in it and some of them feel grainy. They settle while the bottle stands, which is normal for whole-fruit ingredients. Shake it well before every pour so each serving gets its share. The bottles are glass.

Who should not drink noni juice?

Noni juice is high in potassium, so anyone with reduced kidney function or taking a medication that affects potassium should ask their doctor first. The same goes for anyone with a liver condition or on medication that affects the liver, and for anyone pregnant, nursing or on prescription medication generally.

Is this the same juice as Tahitian Noni Pouches?

Yes. Partner.Co's own fact sheet describes the bottle and the pouches as the same product. The pouches are single servings, which makes them easy on the run; the bottle suits drinking it at home every day.

How much should I take?

The standard serving is 1 fl oz (30 mL), taken twice a day. This is the serving size on Partner.Co's own fact sheet for this product, not our interpretation of it.

What is actually in it?

Morinda citrifolia (Noni) fruit nectar from purée, Vaccinium corymbosum (Blueberry) juice concentrate, Vitis vinifera (Grape) juice concentrate, Natural flavors. Where an amount per serving is shown, it is taken from the product's Supplement Facts panel.

Where does this ship from, and who am I buying from?

The Perfect Nutrition is an independently owned marketplace and an authorized Partner.Co distribution partner. We are not Partner.Co and we do not manufacture anything. Products ship as the genuine, unaltered article through Partner.Co's fulfilment network.

How this relationship works

Can I return it if it does not suit me?

Every product carries the same 30-day money-back guarantee, measured from the date you ordered. Keep the original packaging and the batch number where you can, since both are needed to process a return. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Should I check with a doctor first?

If you are pregnant or nursing, taking prescription medication, managing an existing condition, or buying for someone under 18, yes. We are a retailer. We can tell you what is in a product and what the label says, and we are not in a position to tell you it is appropriate for you.
