Reviive toothpaste was discontinued, with a final purchase date of 29 February 2024. It has not returned and there is no indication it will.
What happened
Nothing dramatic. The company reviewed its product lines and decided to concentrate elsewhere. Personal care was always a small part of the range relative to the supplements, and Reviive was a small part of personal care.
We are not aware of any safety issue, recall or reformulation problem behind it, and nothing has been announced to suggest otherwise. If that changes we will update this page.
If you liked it
The features people mention most about Reviive are that it was fluoride-free and free of artificial sweeteners and colours, which is a well-served category now even though it was less so when Reviive launched.
Brands worth searching for in that space include SuperMouth, The Humble Co. and Grin Natural. We are naming them without linking, which is the same approach we take elsewhere on this blog: you can find any of them in a search, and we would rather not run traffic to another store's checkout from our own pages.
One practical note, since this is the thing people get wrong when they switch: fluoride-free is a choice, not an upgrade. Fluoride has substantial evidence behind it for tooth decay specifically, and choosing to go without is a reasonable preference rather than a health improvement. If you have a history of cavities, that is worth raising with a dentist before switching.
What we still stock
Nothing in oral care. The current range is supplements and drinks, and it is all on the shop.
